Somatic Experiencing

Somatic Experiencing is a therapeutic model focusing on the body and the nervous system as the gateway for mental, physical, and emotional health. In Somatic Experiencing you will learn to cultivate skills for a seamless flowing and functional response between activating and calming events, memories, and thoughts affecting health, creativity, and a sense of safety in your body. Over time, through the attunement of felt sensations via dialog and bonded touch, you will mature the ability to notice, free up, and allow movement from a held state of alertness and the lack of drive or immobility.

How do I experience healing in my body? It is hard to know what is healing and what is trying to get my attention. Sometimes I experience healing in my body like a radiance. A radiance either going from in to out, or from out to energetic flow through things, a warm buzz moving throughout, like a symphony or many parts working together to bring about something harmonious.
